A Boat Insurance Survey is required when an insurance company requests a survey from an owner prior to accepting a particular yacht for insurance. Our reports are accepted by all of the marine insurance underwriters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Insurance Survey covers the structural integrity and general safety of the vessel.
The scope of work is typically the same as for the full pre-purchase yacht survey, though the report will contain less detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Insurance Survey can also be of great use to the client as it will highlight defects and degradation that would otherwise remain unknown. One example of a hidden defect found in some boats can be seen by clicking on this article: Defective gas locker drain<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
